Master Class Trials Preview

The Master Class Quests Begin at Hero Hector, where the Witch Quest Part 2 left off, and then goes immediately to the Master Class Quest Area:

Note: Completing ALL of the quests will unlock the Rigg and Rubin quest, which has a chance ~50% of giving an empty Golem. You do not personally have to do all the quests as long as someone who has done them all (and not finished Rigg and Rubin yet) is willing to summon the monsters for you. The Rigg and Rubin quest is available even after becoming a Master Class. (thanks to the person to brought this to my attention in the comment at the bottom)

Each of the four smaller platforms below corresponds with one of the four zones.

Delving Deeper: Talk to Hero Hector to complete the quest.

The Trial Chamber: talk to Hero Hector to complete the quest and be teleported to the new dungeon.

Master Trial Foyer or Starting Area:

Step One: Talk to the Trial-Assistant who gave it to complete it.
Use the cube teleporter to enter the next platform.

There are three cubes on each of the four smaller platforms:
1.) stuns you and does nothing much.
2.) Takes you to the quest room associated with that platform.
3.) will take you to the next platform after this one is completed.

[Master] Zone of the Warrior: it explains itself rather well

Every character must go through each of the four areas: Warrior, Mage, Hunter, and Summoner areas - in that order. The Summoner area main platform has mobs that attack without provocation (the others don't).

A certain number of points must be gained through completing quests before entering the next area.

Warrior = 0/10
Magician = 0/12
Hunter = 0/16
Summoner = 0/22

Two things affect how many points are gained from each quest: speed and the number of people in you party.
Less people is better. Faster is better.

Some quests may be skipped if enough points are already collected.

Quests include fighting monsters, solving puzzles, and other unique tasks.

Run onto the seal after clicking the crystal and accepting the quest to activate the monster.

Warrior Zone Quests:

Defeat Abhuva!

Cleanup

Blessed Magic = Pillars of light (really annoying) I skipped it.

General Stratedgy for all quests that involve collecting pillars of light: 1.) Click crystal  2.) Take Quest  3.) Run to the seal (lights appear) 4.) give up quest    5.) repeat 2-4 2 more times, 6.) take quest and just go! more lights = better chances of success. Repeating steps 2-4 will work for as long as the buff from clicking the crystals remains.
It was too backlogged - look at all the people in line (below). I almost meteor-showered it.

Ancient Magic: talk to the other NPC in the room for a puzzle.
Puzzle: Guess the Numbers

Solution:

Every time you talk to the NPC he will give you the above numbers to choose from. Choose the following numbers in order:

The first time choose 6
The second time choose 36

The third time choose 6

The fourth time choose 4

The fifth time choose 9

done!

Master Marduka

Master Ancient Knights: very hard

Mage Zone:
There are three cubes on each main platform. Find the eastern one to proceed to the Magician Zone.

[Master] Zone of Magician

Cube Collection
So many people were trying to do this quest at once that I got frustrated:
If possible, have someone start the cubes while you are next to the cube closest to the npc. When the cubes spawn start collecting the cube closest to the npc. when almost collected, accept the quest. Go counter-clockwise and while the cube is being collected turn your view so that you may place your mouse over the next cube (like below image). Someone else may need to reset the cubes between the 2nd and third cubes.

Pillar Pilfering:
General Stratedgy for all quests that involve collecting pillars of light: Use rapid gear and wind pots and 1.) Click crystal  2.) Take Quest  3.) Run to the seal (lights appear) 4.) give up quest    5.) repeat 2-4 2 more times, 6.) take quest and just go! more lights = better chances of success. Repeating steps 2-4 will work for as long as the buff from clicking the crystals remains.

Breaking Rocks: The monster does not attack, but has a lot of HP. I had to duo him with an Evoker.

Defeat Betrayal

Disguises... talk to the other Trial Assistant and select "Joker."

Blessed Magic 0 of 9:
General Stratedgy for all quests that involve collecting pillars of light: 1.) Click crystal  2.) Take Quest  3.) Run to the seal (lights appear) 4.) give up quest    5.) repeat 2-4 2 more times, 6.) take quest and just go! more lights = better chances of success. Repeating steps 2-4 will work for as long as the buff from clicking the crystals remains.

Hunter Zone:

Blessed magic 0 of 9
General Stratedgy for all quests that involve collecting pillars of light: Use rapid gear and wind pots and 1.) Click crystal  2.) Take Quest  3.) Run to the seal (lights appear) 4.) give up quest    5.) repeat 2-4 2 more times, 6.) take quest and just go! more lights = better chances of success. Repeating steps 2-4 will work for as long as the buff from clicking the crystals remains.

Leos!
  - these guys hit HARD! -

Octopi!
The octopuses hit hard, but have low hp. I soloed them.

Makrul!
Lots of HP, but it doesn't attack.

Catch a Tiger by the Toe
A good tank is required - I duo-ed them with a kind berserker.

Failed Experiments
 kill the Master Witch

Picking Pillars
 I skipped this one

Silex!
He doesn't attack. Just get enough damage dealers.

Sealed Magic Essence: talk to the other Trial assistant and select Rick

Blessed Magic 24 lights - I skipped it.

Summoner Zone
Mobs on the main platform of the Summoner Zone are hostile (will attack without provocation).

[Master] Zone of Summoner

Master Marduka
10 or so spawn - one of them will complete the quest - no telling which one though - good tank needed.

Wild Wild Witch
Kill the Master Witch, which has low HP. I trio-ed him.

Choose Wisely
You must have the last hit to get credit - a party with a good tank is typically required.
Also, all 4 must be of the same type: either Defense or Attack.

Rigg and Rukaric
Completing ALL of the quests will unlock the Rigg and Rubin quest, which has a chance ~50% of giving an empty Golem.

Witch Assault
Kill the Master Witches (X4) - A very good tank and healer will be needed (or Obsidikar card):

The Maze
There are two pillars of light: one in the North-West corner, the other in the South-East corner of the room.
Activate the quest, and find your way back to the Trial Assistant. Re-take the quest (to improve your time and get more points for completing the quest). First collect the pillar in the North-West and then either Click the ceiling (see below) to run through the walls to the other pillar or have someone in your party who is standing on the other pillar of light and click follow on them.

Summoned Arurumis
He has low HP and probably hits hard.

Completing the Summoner Area gives a timed Master Class Helmet (14 days, +10/lvl10)

Final Platform: Master Arena

Spirits of the Ancients
Activate the master crystal and run onto the seal to summon monsters: Master Ghost Knight Numa may not appear immediately - just start killing stuff and he should appear.

Final Ceremony

Void Mage!

GGGGZZZ!!!!!

Return
(to Hector)

The end:

Next are the Talent Point Quests, which give an additional 3 talent points (total = max of 5).

  1. Found out the Rigg and Rukaric quest is not bugged. You have to complete EVERY quest on all platforms. Once you do this quest will activate. Complete the quest and you get a box that will give you an empty pet with 50% chance of it being a golem. You can actually have one person just complete all the quests. Party up and have everyone take the quest. The one that completed the quest will spawn the duo and once killed (they were not all that hard) all get credit for the kill and can get the prize.

  4. Its hard to believe that 2.5 years after the release of these quests, this is the still the best guide out there. I am not very good at record keeping but as I was following it through I found a number of inaccuracies. But anyway thanks a lot for making it and good job on picking up for Gpotatoes slack and apathy towards providing their players with appropriate tools and guides.
